Dayton Area Families
for Effective Autism Treatment (DAFEAT) is a 501 (c)3
organization dedicated to helping individuals with Autism
Spectrum Disorders (ASDs) reach their full potential. We are an
all-volunteer, non-profit organization comprised of parents,
educators, and other professionals striving to provide
information and support to families of children with ASDs.

Many of us experienced tremendous difficulties in obtaining an accurate diagnosis,
and this typically wasn't accompanied by up-to-date information or options. We were lost
and we spent precious time doing our own extensive, independent research.
Then came the most challenging obstacle of all... securing effective,
appropriate, affordable treatment for our children.
We want to help families who come after us. We want to ease some of the
pain. We want to clear up some of the confusion. We want to assist
however we can...
